I started my photography business while working at a hospital and literally feeling like the life was being sucked out of me.  My husband had bought me a nice camera and I had worked as a photographers assistant in high school so I fell back in love.  When my second son was born my desire to spend time with my children convinced me that I needed to own my own business.  At the time I had a toddler, a newborn and was running a full-time daycare out of my home. I had no idea how to run a business but decided that I couldn't run a daycare forever and I didn't want to go back to corporate so I taught myself, found mentors and made it happen. I quickly became overwhelmed with the demands of mom life and running a business and thats when I decided to stop looking at how everyone else was doing business and started designing my dream business. 
What was a dream has now become a reality.  Now 12 years later I run a successful portrait and styling studio as well as a small lingerie boutique and get this......I'm home with my kids 95% of the time, have regular dates with my husband, hang out with my best girls and am able to give my time to my church and community.  Some people say you can't have it all but I think they are wrong! You can have a life and a business you love you just have to design it.

Over the years I have had to honor of teaching other photographers and helping them find the confidence to live their best life with a business and lifestyle that they love.
